'tis the season
the temperature is falling, the daylight getting shorter, and before longer we will again hunker down and endure the 9 months which is the minnesota winter. at least there are no mosquitoes. i've been thinking about a Christmas song for some time, and finally took the plunge. and you can listen to it here! i hope you enjoy it. shameless plug: it also helps me a lot if you listen on (or better yet, download from) apple music, prime (amazon) music, pandora, spotify, or other streaming services. either way, i sure hope you enjoy it. and thanks to Rhonda Maker for the awesome backing vocals ... again!!
oh yes, i almost forgot - please share and please subscribe!
lyrics for "it just isn't Christmas without you"
you're so far away
so very far and there's nothing i can do
but sit here by the fire
watch the snow banks getting higher
and it just isn't Christmas without you
a hush descends upon the city
people come to share
a sense of peace that fills the air
oh, i wish that you were here
i need you most this time of year
and it just isn't Christmas without you
so hurry now, it’s late
don’t delay don’t hesitate
when you're here you make everything alright
the only gift i truly need
is to have you here with me
i’m saying all i need is you
and nothing else will ever do
because it just isn't Christmas without you
you're so far away
so very far and there's nothing i can do
i will pray this wish comes true
that you’ll be here before it’s through
because it just isn't Christmas without you
you know it just isn't Christmas without you
